VMware 3D 效能測試評比

前些時候對了我組的Intel P55 平台做了一些虛擬機模擬的測試, 大家應該都知道自從Workstation 6.5 開始支援較好的3D加速, 而到Workstation 7.0開始導入新的顯示VMWare 3D Driver, WDDM 讓你的系統能有更好的3D效果....那究竟用VMware 模擬出來的效果到底是如何呢? 請看慢慢看下比較結果就知道其實模擬出來的顯示比一般內建顯示還是中低階的獨立顯卡都還要來的強~ 測試系統

  • 處理器: Intel Corei7 860 @ 2.8GHz

由上述的測試結果看來, 即使是換效能更高的顯示卡其模擬出來的效能還是無法再提升, 很輕鬆就能達到它的極限效能, 但是它模擬出來的效其實有的還比一些獨立顯卡還要來的強 例如在Windows7 下使用VMWare 3D Driver (WDDM) 它模擬出來的效果還比我的Notebook Benq S73 的 x1600還要來的好 以Tom'shardware上顯示卡的效能圖表來比較的話, 模擬出來的顯卡大約是 Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT/ ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT /ATI Radeon X1800 XT 同等級的顯示卡。

如果是SVGAII的話, 那模擬出來的顯示等級大約是 ATI Radeon X1600 Pro。 Windows7也是可以不使用VMWare 3D Driver 而改用SVGAII, 不過的顯示效能就跟WinXP 使用的SVGAII差不多了...另外如果系統執行許多虛擬機的話顯示效能也會有些許的影響, 不過影響程度感覺不到3%。

附記: 如果沒有VMWare Workstation 7.0的話用VMWare Player 3.0 也是可以, 一樣能夠開啟Direct3D支援
